On a really good day everything makes sense.

On a really bad day nothing makes sense and it's grim outside….

What inspires your ideas?

Images & objects apparently out of context.

Describe the process you go through to turn your ideas into products.

Observation & idea > photography > Image manipulation > design decisions > production decisions.

 What advice would you give to an aspiring surface designer?

Don’t give up.

What are you most proud of?

Surviving by doing what I want to be doing.

What’s next for you?

First a holiday and time to focus on and develop new ideas.

Then In the new year there will be ‘Paper Trail’ a touring exhibition, wallpapering the streets of Britain.

 And, finally, what’s your favourite colour?!

I don’t have a favourite, but I'm into very dark grey at the moment.
