Beautiful floral-inspired paintings by Sue Fenlon

Sue Fenlon Poppies and seagulls Sue Fenlon's beautiful floral-inspired paintings remind me of the coast and countryside where I grew up in Devon.

I fell in love at first sight with the painting above as it contains two things which are very close to my heart...the sea and flowers.   The dreamy red poppies are just so pretty!

Sue specialises in capturing coastal scenes, landscapes and hedgerows, and is inspired by the way nature evolves through seasonal changes in light, texture and colour.

In the past, she has painted in America where she developed her skills in different mediums, looking at aspects of light, form and colour, on the Texan landscape.

She now works from her studio in the countryside of Northumberland, overlooking the sea and the fields.
