Christmas, more than any other time of the year, can sometimes lead to sensory overload. Everywhere we look we are tempted and tantalised by yet another way to decorate our tree, or festoon our fireplace, or lay our table. It's the only time of year when more is most definitely more. When it's absolutely ok to cover every surface of the house with candles and baubles, and spray every branch with glitter and fake snow.
So do you dare to buck the trend?
Sometimes it's nice to just take a few blooms and display them simply in glass vases. Nothing fancy, nothing shiny, and definitely no tinsel in sight.
