Kirath Ghundoo's wallpaper and surface pattern designs are inspired by a multitude of daily encounters, from a cocktail at her favourite bar, to capturing someone’s eclectic look, all the time gathering snippets of sumptuous colour and pattern to work from. She loves to explore mismatched colour palettes and pushes boundaries to create original work, her designs are a fusion of all things ‘her’!
Kirath is based in County Durham, and launched her first wallpaper collection ‘Mix ‘n’ Match 11’ at 100% Design, London in September 2011 with Living etc labelling her as "the queen of pretty geometrics."
To us, she epitomizes the fun side of design, yet with only such a short time on the design scene, the inventive nature behind Kirath’s wallpapers has resulted in international recognition within major design press including ELLE Decoration worldwide, Mix, The Independent, The Observer and The Sunday Times to name a few.
Kirath Ghundoo will be exhibiting on the Heart Home stand at Home London from 12 – 14 January. Earls Court 2, London.
Heart Home magazine will be on stand M46.
Also in association with Pressloft UK.
