Annabel Perrin is a Manchester based surface pattern designer, who creates striking patterns for furnishing fabrics, homeware products, stationery and public art installations. spectrum cushion stack 460

Two years ago Annabel left her nine to five job in rural Nottinghamshire and moved to Manchester to complete an MA in Design. She had a dream of establishing her own homewares brand.  After months of determination the dream is now a reality. In February this year Annabel launched her first collection, including fabrics, home accessories and limited edition upcycled vintage chairs.

Shortly after making the decision to set up her own business, Annabel discovered that her grandmother used to have her own independent shop, selling fabrics and wallpapers by prestigious brands such as Sanderson and Osborne & Little. This seemed like a perfect sign and shows the enthusiasm for interior design is in her genes! Annabel now works from her home studio and creates designs using a combination of hand drawn and digital imagery.

She is passionate about supporting manufacturers in the UK and dedicates time to sourcing local suppliers. British locations and architecture significantly influence Annabel’s designs. She loves the aesthetic appearance of architecture – the structures, patterns, outstanding features and light reflections. The stories and memories behind each landmark also intrigue her. Many of her surface patterns pay tribute to mid-century textiles, an era of design she adores.
