Whilst on holiday in Cornwall this summer, I stayed at a lovely hotel which had some of Yvonne Coomber's beautiful paintings on display.
And of course, being a fan of all things floral, I took a note of her name and have since had chance to find out more about her work.
Yvonne was brought up on a farm and spent a large portion of her childhood in the Emerald Isle, her mother's homeland.
She's now based in Totnes in Devon and her paintings are inspired by the gentle hills and the singing rainbows of tumbling, spilling, flowers outside her studio.
She almost always work outside which means that the weather has an impact on the end result of each painting, from scorching sunshine to gentle breezes.
For me, Yvonne's paintings are such 'feel-good' creations. I love the bold colours that she uses in these abstract wild flower meadows.
As well as the original paintings, she also has a range of giclee limited edition prints.
Wouldn't her artwork be perfect for adding a burst of colour to your home?
