The Christmas Star

The most poignant decorations are the ones that are made by our children we hang them on the tree, decorate the mantlepiece with them and put a few branches of ivy around them.

The simplest are always the best. And the simplest symbols, the star, the wreath, mistletoe, ivy, the evergreen tree, all giving us some light and hope through cold, dark, winter months. And it has been very cold this week.

The Heart Home family, as you know, like style. While we love the stars the children make, placing a stylish one next to the treasured one made of paper and glitter can make it fun and bright. A few from some favorites:

A few branches of ivy and some candles around these stars will make the season bright.
