The New Heart Home mag 2014

covers 2012

A few changes are taking place here at Heart Home magazine and we thought it right that our readers be the first to know about them. As you know, the magazine launched in September 2011, and two years and ten issues later we are still reeling from the warm reception we have received from you our readers, our contributors, our collaborators, our advertisers and the general public. It seems you like our magazine and we would like to give you more of what you like.

From the March issue onwards, Heart Home magazine will be monthly instead of quarterly. Yes, you heard that right! We have so many requests for more frequent issues that we thought, why not? Of course the quarterly magazine is quite a hefty read and takes time to put together so the monthly issues will be shorter but still packed with beautiful photographs and the kind of inspiration that you have come to expect.

For those of you who still want to receive all of the seasonal features in one go, we are keeping the frequency of the iPad app the same for now. The app will still appear on the Apple newsstand about a week before the pc magazine comes out and will contain all of the features for the next three issues. It will also include extra images that cannot be seen in the magazine at all. There has to be some reward for parting with your pennies!

The app also has lots of features that cannot be experienced in the pc version of the magazine. Our beautifully photographed homes look even more inspirational.  Images can be made full screen at a single tap, or you can tap and shop, swipe to reveal more galleries, click to see recipes and scroll to read extra text. It’s the magazine as you know it but much more interactive. It goes without saying too, that reading on the iPad is so much more convenient when you’re on the move.

“ It’s a high quality magazine made even better by the ability to swipe and explore.” Kelly Hoppen MBE.

We hope you will continue to read the magazine in whichever way you choose and we would love to hear what you think of the new format.
