Winter Blues

This past wintry week I have seen several new products for homes in blues, from deep indigo to petrol, cobalt, teal and turquoise.  Blue being a cool color some say is difficult to use in London, we need warm colors for this climate. But I will say it depends, there are warm blues, those that are closer to red on the spectrum rather towards green. I would also add that the quality of light here is softer, so blue works well in this northern light.

Beautiful blues that will accent our neutral schemes, against whites it is heavenly. Next to greys and charcoals, it is intensified giving it more depth.
