Scottish design studio bluebellgray opened the doors to their very first dedicated showroom this autumn. Situated in Glasgow’s West End, where the brand was founded by Glasgow School of Art graduate Fi Douglas in 2009, the showroom offers customers the opportunity to browse products in a relaxed atmosphere as well as book design consultations to assist with everything from small tips to full room redecoration projects.
Including the full range of bedding, cushions, fabrics, wallpaper and accessories, the showroom will also feature special one off upholstered pieces in signature floral and abstract watercolour prints as well as a beautifully curated selection from guest artists and designers.
Founder and creative director Fi says, ‘I think this is an exciting addition to the Glasgow design scene and I want to break down the barriers of interior design - it’s so important to me that our customers have somewhere friendly and inviting to feel inspired and to be able to buy beautiful and stylish products for their homes. It was really important to me to open our first showroom in Glasgow, it’s our home and where we love’.
Est. 2009, bluebellgray is one of Scotland leading design studios being stocked in the best department stores and boutiques throughout the world, including John Lewis in the UK, Macy’s and Bloomingdales in the US and Hudon’s Bay in Canada. Winner of the House Beautiful Gold Award for ‘Dream Bedroom’, Sept 2016, Fi’s oversized watercolour floral and abstract prints born in the Glasgow studio have become synonymous with the brand, leading the watercolour trend.
