Friends Sarah Drumm and Lisa Marconi have been taking Dublin by storm since they opened their first pop up shop called DUST in the basement of Lisa’s period home last October. Another pop up followed before they found a space to open permanently in March 2015. After settling into their new space, they have now launched their online shop and new website, DUST. Which means we can finally get our hands on their lovely products
They stock a carefully sourced selection of statement pieces and unusual finds from Ireland and around the world. Colourful concrete planters full of succulents by Dublin designers Ail+El sit alongside collections by Abigail Ahern and Jonathan Adler. Missoni and House of Hackney fabrics nestle amongst limited edition napkins created by Irish fashion label, We are Islanders.
They’re in the process of building up a collection of Irish artists and photographers that fit with their edgy take on interiors. The work of award-winning Irish photographer Gillian Hyland is the first to feature in the shop, with collaborations with more Irish artists in the pipeline.
Dust is all about encouraging you to be bold, and their range of wallpapers certainly does that. The stylish collection includes the books for House of Hackney, Studio Job, NLXL Lab, Brooklyn Tins by Merci, Beware the Moon, Kristjana S Williams and Coordonné.
Make sure to visit DUST.
