Easter is one of our favourite times of the year for getting the family together. A long bank holiday weekend and some (hopefully) spring-like weather is the perfect excuse to send out the invitations and enjoy some home cooking with our nearest and dearest. It's also the perfect time to make a fuss of celebratory meals, dust off the best china, and decorate the table.
We've visited the high street for some inspiration on how to make breakfast, lunch and dinner just that bit more special.
Keep it simple and relaxed with white china, white napkins and a glass vase filled with white tulips. Nothing says spring like these pretty nodding heads, and you want to save your strength for the Easter egg hunt later.
All from Debenhams.
Lunch is the meal where you can really go to town. Create a little nest under a glass cloche and fill it with mini eggs. Get out the linen, tie the napkins with ribbon and a sprig of blossom from the garden, and accessorise the table with bunnies, chicks and flowers.
All from TK Maxx.
Dinner is a time for the grown-ups and a more sophisticated table style. We love this monochrome look from Marks and Spencer with it's tribal inspired runner. Add a touch of gold, some tropical leaves, and pour the wine. Please.
