Indigo tall jug and large mugs.jpg

Sue is heavily influenced by a diverse range of sources, which are reflected through her work with Sue Ure Ceramics and Sue Ure Maison. Such influences include ancient Minoan artefacts to the Finnish ceramics brand ‘Arabia’.

The tall deep violet jugs are individually hand thrown by Sue Ure in a blend of white stoneware and porcelain. This perfectly complements other items from Sue’s contemporary tableware collection, including the two large mugs featured above, or can quite simply be filled with your favourite flowers.

Why not add a splash of oceanic colour and style with the waves range? This collection is very much a reflection of Sue’s influence of her sunny French climate. With Sue Ure Ceramics and Sue Ure Masion, she ensures that her products have bright, yet subtle colours and a harmony throughout her work.

Meystyle LED wallpaper to be Launched at Decorex International 2018

Meystyle will unveil its latest collection of LED wallpaper Conductivity which combines dazzling natural textures with an unprecedented use of light patterns.

MEYSTYLE’s mission is to rescue walls from the background, integrating bold patterns with LED lights and crystals to create deep visual experiences that transforms walls and wallpaper into works of art.

The Conductivity collection is a celebration of the ubiquitous yet mysterious power of electricity. The designs dig into the infinitesimal world of the atom and its scientific representation as a source of visual inspiration.

Simple geometric elements like the line and the circle are used to give sense and order to the impenetrable complexity of chemical and physical phenomena.

The use of LEDs in this collection is inspired by the exchange of subatomic particles generating the prodigy of light itself. Different wavelengths and levels of light intensity combine into dynamic compositions suggested by the way electrons interact. From cascading lines merging into sumptuous light waterfalls, to concentric circles representing the varying configurations of the atom, each design expresses the beauty of the natural world in its most essential form.

The Conductivity collection echoes its fascination with nature also in its choice of materials, ranging from refined linens and cotton canvases to elegant silks. A variety of metal accents, notably electricity's best companions enrich the natural properties of each texture with hand-painted details and gilded applications.

It has been more than 10 years since sisters Maria and Ekaterina Yaschuk first incorporated 99 LEDs into wallpaper in 2004 - the concept has been constantly refined since. The LEDs are fully integrated into the material of the wallpaper and textiles, allowing them to be used just like any traditional wall-covering or fabric – but with the added requirement of an electrical socket or switch.

MEYSTYLE integrates traditional crafts materials to compliment Swarovski crystals and LEDs. Some designs are hand-finished with screen printed elements and metallic painting to create a tactile feel.

Little Greene to Launch A Palette of Glorious Green Paints At Decorex International 2018

Since the beginning of 2018, Little Greene has been working in collaboration with the National Trust. As a result, an extensive paint research project has been undertaken in National Trust houses and gardens throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, to find original colours, and to tell the stories of the people who first enjoyed them.

As with its previous colour-themed capsule collections, including ‘Grey’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Pink’, Little Greene has identified an unrivalled selection of 31 beautiful greens, each with a noteworthy origin, and each with an important place in contemporary interior design. There are 20 National Trust-derived shades, plus several important greens from Little Greene’s archives and the current colourcard have also been included.

Aquamarine 138, Ambleside 304 & Aquamarine – Pale 282

Aquamarine 138, Ambleside 304 & Aquamarine – Pale 282

Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as Beatrix Potter’s Cumbrian farmhouse, George Bernard Shaw’s revolving writing hut and even mythical birds featured on the wallpaper hung by Chippendale at Nostell Priory, the new colourcard features some intriguing stories and a gamut of glorious greens in a comprehensive array of hues.

In true Little Greene fashion, the card and its contents are designed to be easy to use and choose from. Divided into five columns, the collection is loosely arranged to represent each of the key green families: grey greens, neutral greens, yellow greens, blue greens and turquoise greens.

Jewel Beetle 303, Chocolate Colour 124 & Pique 299

Jewel Beetle 303, Chocolate Colour 124 & Pique 299

Little Greene’s Managing Director, David Mottershead, is excited about the new collection: “With access to over 350 significant historic interiors in the National Trust’s care, we have had an unparalleled opportunity to delve into a prestigious and eclectic mix of decorative styles. It’s been a fascinating exercise and, with such a wealth of resources at our disposal, the hardest part has been editing it down to a selection of colours that will be welcomed by today’s interior designers.”

Clare Brown, Head of Brand Licensing for the National Trust, adds: “We are delighted with the association with Little Greene, which will help everyone to bring the nation’s heritage into their own homes. The two organisations have a real synergy, with conservation, restoration and reinvention at their core. The choice of green for the first collaboration is an inspired one: it is the colour of the National Trust and conjures up images of the expanse of gardens and countryside that we look after for the nation to enjoy.”

A contribution from the sale of every can of Little Greene paint will be made in support of the National Trust’s conservation work, to ensure the nation’s historic houses, gardens and open spaces can be enjoyed for generations to come.

In addition, Little Greene will be supporting the National Trust’s conservation and restoration programme by donating paints to bring colour and life back to some of the UK’s most loved properties.

Little Greene paint is available nationally and internationally through Little Greene’s network of distributors, as well as via email and phone order and online at

Louis Poulsen Present Limited Edition of the PH 3/2 Table Lamp

Louis Poulsen is pleased to present a limited edition of the PH 3/2 table lamp, originally designed by Poul Henningsen in 1927. The exclusive new edition features Italian mouth-blown, amber-coloured glass shades and a brushed brass frame. This limited edition will only be available from 1 October to 31 December 2018.

PH-3-2-Limited-2018-01-02920 copy.jpg

The warmth and beauty of coloured glass

Louis Poulsen and Poul Henningsen initially introduced coloured glass lamps in the late 1920s to attract new customers. Then, as now, the naturally varying colourations won people over with their warmth and individuality, highlighting the beauty of hand-craftsmanship. In 2017, Louis Poulsen brought back the classic amber-hued shades in the limited-edition PH 3.-3 pendant with a brass suspension. Now, Louis Poulsen is pleased to offer the warm, inviting colour scheme in the versatile and beloved PH 3/2 Table lamp.

“The amber-coloured glass accentuates the shade’s organic form. And because the glass of each lamp is crafted individually, each one varies ever so slightly from the others,” says Rasmus Markholt, Product & Design Director at Louis Poulsen. “This makes every limited-edition PH 3/2 Table lamp unique and as much a work of art as an ideal source of light. The colour scheme also reflects today’s retro trends and a growing desire to bring warm, metallic tones like gold and brass into contemporary interiors.”

PH-3-2-Limited-2018-04-02923 copy.jpg

The glass shades’ amber hue, glossy surface and sandblasted matt underside create a soft, evenly distributed glow. In addition to reflecting light downward and outward, the glass shades also allow it to penetrate upward, contributing to the overall room lighting. The resulting tone creates a warm, welcoming ambience and a sense of intimacy, reminiscent of the comforting effect of candlelight.

Even when unlit, the lamp continues to play a dynamic role in its environment, reflecting the surroundings off its surfaces. Its compact size makes the design ideal as an atmospheric side table or window lamp, a bedside reading lamp, or a desktop task lamp.

PH-3-2-Limited-2018-02-02921 copy.jpg

A union of signature Poul Henningsen elements

The PH 3/2 Table lamp features Poul Henningsen’s legendary three-shade system, which he developed in 1926. The first PH Table lamp was completed in early 1927 and launched as an alternative to low-pitched hanging lamps.

The frame of the new special-edition PH 3/2 Table lamp is based on that of a PH Table lamp from around 1927. Like all of the lamp’s metal parts, the frame is made of brass with a lightly brushed surface, the fine brush lines following the lamp’s contours and shape. The brass has been left untreated, allowing it to acquire a beautiful, unique patina over time, unless polished.

The light switch on the limited-edition PH 3/2 Table lamp can be traced back to Henningsen’s 1927 table lamps. Also made of brushed brass, the through-switch is located on the stem near the base. Henningsen’s initials are beautifully engraved beneath the switch.

PH-3-2-Limited-2018-03-02922 copy.jpg

The limited-edition PH 3/2 Table lamp will be available in stores from 1 October to December 31st, 2018.

Gelato Geometrics: The Wallpaper Mural Collection

This mural collection is inspired by ice cream colours, bringing the pastel Summer trend seen all over SS18 shows at New York Fashion Week to interiors.

Gelato pastels were a prominent motif at last year's NYFW, found featuring in many designers' collections - particularly Victoria Beckham's. The confident display of pastels galore has set the sweet tooth trend in stone for Spring and Summer this year.

MuralsWallpaper have stacked up several of the soft-serve runway shades to create a cool collection of geometric murals, brimming with mint, parma violet, lemon sorbet and strawberry shortcake influence.

Interiors that scream ice cream inspo

This newest pastel palette updates Pantone's popular pale Rose Quartz pink and Serenity blue choices for colours of the year 2016, bringing more contemporary shades and colour combos to the table for a fresh take on the pastel trend for 2018.

The geometric patterns of these murals give the colours a fashionable feel, and are used here in luxe, designer furniture settings that prove that adults can pull off playful ice cream pastels in the home as well - not just in their new Summer closets.

Floral Murals inspired by Frida Kahlo & traditional Mexicana trends

Joyous artesanía such as the kaleidoscopic folk art found in Oaxaca, traditional floral oilcloth designs and the bright flower arrangements that artist Frida Kahlo famously wore in her hair are all iconic Mexican decoration aesthetics, and all served as inspiration for this statement collection by MuralsWallpaper.

Each mural features layered, textured Mexican rose designs which reflect the style of ceremonial paper flowers and embroidered floral huipils. These are paired with warm, striking block colour backdrops, as well as neutral options for homes that are already drenched in vibrant decor.

Frida Kahlo was known to fill her home with Mexican folk art and bright colours – such as her yellow kitchen which was full of colourful ceramics. Let Frida's use of bold, cheerful colour in her fashion and interiors inspire a takeover of Mexicana style in your own home - carrying on the spirit of La Casa Azul.

Sneak Peek: The A by Amara AW18 Collection

Interiors emporium Amara present their fifth collection from the established and successful A by Amara brand. This season brings together even more desirable must have pieces to be coveted for the home.

Sam Hood, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Amara, and her team have concentrated on two trends for the season; Midnight Garden and Architect that both bring a fresh new outlook on two favoured interior styles.

Sam said; “We try very hard each season to offer something new and fresh to our customers that both excites and inspires them to embrace their own creative interior style. By traveling and meeting exceptionally talented suppliers, we’re able to create beautiful, one off pieces that can’t be found anywhere else.”

The A by Amara collection continues to evolve and develop each season.  The range provides customers with pieces to sit beautifully alongside their existing interior and also directional items to create a stylish look.

Midnight Garden;

This rich vivid look embraces those deep tones associated with the winter months with a regal and warm edge.  Highlighting rich floral patterns and exceptional beadwork, this look will add a level of opulence to any interior space.  One highlight of the collection is the embroidered and beaded soft accessories which, styled together or used as a stand-alone piece, will provide a striking addition to any bed or chair.

A fresh and clean look, this trend boasts geometric straight lines in a simplistic style.  Loft living with a masculine edge was the inspiration this season with the use of simple colours of white, black and a warming brown. Adding metallic accent tones gives the collection a lift and embraces a warmer look within such an industrial collection.  Sketch work patterns are used in various ways including this striking bedding range.

The A by Amara AW18 collection launches online early August 2018.

The Scallop Rug by Salvesen Graham and Jennifer Manners

Ahead of the curve, this new rug design by Salvesen Graham (interior design studio) and Jennifer Manners (bespoke rug designer) is the very first of its kind. The Scallop Rug takes a classic double-border format and adds a little flourish: the crescent detail. The result is a sophisticated piece with a playful edge (quite literally), that perfectly marries Salvesen Graham’s fresh take on timeless interiors and Jennifer Manners’ elegant aesthetic.

Salvesen Graham Scallop Rug.jpg

“We have long been fans of a scallop edge in our interior schemes,” say Mary Graham and Nicole Salvesen. “We had the idea to incorporate this detail into rug design and were thrilled when Jennifer agreed to collaborate with us. This simple yet effective scallop detail adds so much to upholstery, a leading edge of a curtain or a lampshade, so we thought it would work wonderfully in a rug”.

Salvesen Graham Scallop Rug (1).jpg

The colour choices were based around the designers’ conviction that this design would work in lots of different rooms, from a traditional drawing room to a contemporary, fresh bedroom space. The SCALLOP rug is available in four standard colourways, Cerise (shown), Fawn (a double neutral), Fir (a double green), and Ocean (a double blue), all on warm neutral backgrounds. Standard sizes include 180x240cm (£1,490), 200x300cm (£2,070) and 300x400cm (£4,140). Price £345/sqm (all prices inc VAT). Bespoke colour options and sizes also available
