Beautiful floral-inspired homeware from Fiona Howard

Fiona-Howard-Homeware I've recently discovered the beautiful floral-inspired homeware created by Fiona Howard.

Fiona is a textile designer who's based in Brighton on the Sussex coast, where she works from her studio overlooking the sea.

You may have heard of her name before, as she designed Sanderson’s Dandelion Clocks.

Fiona creates collections of contemporary textile designs, using traditional skills such as cut paper techniques, monoprint and lino cut.

And her inspiration comes from a love of nature, extensive travel and an ability to look at life with open eyes.

Here are some examples of her designs from her online shop, including trays, mugs, cushions, tea towels and prints.

I love the vibrancy of her designs, which would certainly add a splash of colour to your home!

As well as creating her own range of homeware, over the last 25 years, Fiona has worked with clients including Colefax and Fowler, John Lewis, Crate & Barrel, M&S, Jane Churchill, Harlequin and Ikea.

By the way, if you're reading this and you happen to be based in New York (or will be visiting there in January), Fiona will be exhibiting at PrintSource which takes place on January 15th-16th.

And if you'd like to keep up-to-date with Fiona's news, she's on Twitter and Facebook.
