Jenny Duff Tableware...with floral designs from Gillian Blease

Jenny-Duff-Gillian-Blease-Verbena This week, I'm delighted to feature some beautiful modern floral tableware.  It's been designed by freelance illustrator Gillian Blease and is part of a product range from Jenny Duff.

There are eight striking flower designs in the collection called Cornflower, Verbena, Daisies, Dogrose, Sunflower, Peony, Dahlia and Dandelion.

They come in different sizes...table mats, coasters, serving mats, extra large mats and large trays.  And they're all made in England using quality cork-backed Melamine.

I love the vibrant colours which Gillian has used, together with the retro symmetry.

The designs can easily be mixed and matched. And they'd certainly bring sunshine to your table at any time of the year.  They'd also make great Christmas presents...

As for a little bit of background about Jenny...

She's a designer maker based in Ramsgate in Kent.  She set up her business twelve years ago when she was looking for mats for her mum for Christmas.

She looked around the shops for some to give her.  On visiting a photo lab, Jenny saw a sign about having your own coasters made from your pictures.

This led to her sourcing a Melamine manufacturer in the UK and starting her business using original illustrations and photography.

Jenny's business has grown via the internet, but she also sells her products in some lovely shops in the UK and at fairs.

Do check out her website for more fabulous tableware designs, including animals, birds and food.

And if you'd like to keep up-to-date with her news, she's on Twitter and has a blog.
