Continuing from last week I want to share with you some more pendants that make it regularly onto my shortlist for projects. Something to remember when selecting pendants is that in a large open space, a single pendant can look very lonely, so using multiples or oversized options may well be a good alternative. As pendants provide focused downward light also consider what they are going to (high)light. It’s this task light that makes pendants ideal lighting over kitchen islands or dining tables. They can also free up floor space if you use them over a bedside table for example - I've been thinking of doing this with the carvaggio pendant below in my own home.
The Caravaggio light by Lightyears is a modern cloche shaped pendant available in a high gloss finish and in 4 sizes. I’m particularly taken with this hung in multiples with the red coloured cord. Available to buy from mydeco
CTO Lighting has a gorgeous pendant that to me just spells glamour. The Aero pendant in slate grey silk has hand-blown balls suspended within the construction giving it a chandelier like quality.
Foscarini’s Caboche suspension lamp is a chic pendant that can create a real focal point in an interior. The lens create interesting inviting lighting effects. I've used these many times in projects and it always goes down a storm.
