We are all about being quintessentially British here at HHM, so you can imagine my delight when I was sent a copy of Jan Constantine's new book, Love Stitching. I have always been a big fan of her work, as for me she truly epitomises all that is great about British Design. Love stitching is a stunning collection of decorative appliqué and hand-embroidery projects, featuring some of her best selling designs for cushions, throws, wall hangings and many other home accessories. This book is full of simple techniques that even a novice like myself can have fun trying out these crafty projects. Full of bright colours, bold and graphic designs, this book has taken a more modern approach capturing a mix of nostalgia, romance, patriotism and celebration. For this reason it is bound to inspire home-owners to get stitching.
Here at HHM we are giving away a couple of copies of the book to our lovely readers. If you fancy getting crafty then all you have to do is a leave a comment below and make sure to subscribe to our magazine using the form in the sidebar. The winners will be selected randomly in a couple of weeks. Best of Luck!
