It cannot have escaped your notice that we are particularly fond of small independent shops here at Heart Home.
Often they were established because the owners were frustrated at the lack of choice and originality on the high street and so decided to open their own shops. Often the resulting collections are diverse, colourful and full of personality but Pretty Dandy has something just a little bit extra.
Owner Becky Morris Knight realised that she had been most inspired and fulfilled by creating her own home and wanted to help others to do the same. So she has filled her 'shop' with an eclectic range of new, handmade and vintage homewares that give a warm cosy feeling of nostalgia.
My personal choices would be the comfy hand knitted cushions, or the vintage gravy boat from the 1950's which is classic English pottery at it's best. The distressed white wire bowls would have a multitude of uses you can never have enough tea light holders or prints for the walls.
A visit to Pretty Dandy is like walking into a warm, welcoming home.
